The airport is owned by the Town of Wilson Creek.
The runway is paved and is 3,074 feet long and 50 feet wide. There is also a large paved parking area for airplanes, and a portable toilet. The airport is used by local pilots, Big Bend Community College flight program, Jackson Flight Center, area ag pilots, and ultra-lite pilots.
The Town is working on a development plan to prepare for economic development.
It is a short walk down the hill to the downtown area.
